Toronto, Canada, December 24, 2007 - CHAMPION MINERALS INC. ("Champion" or the "Company") (TSX-V: CHM) announces that it intends to proceed with a non-brokered private placement of up to 1,250,000 Flow-Through common shares (the "FT Shares") to be issued on a "flowthrough" basis under the Income Tax Act (Canada) at a price of 60 cents per FT Share, for gross proceeds to the Company of $750,000 ( the "Private Placement"). The Company intends to use the proceeds from the Private Placement to finance continued exploration on the Company’s properties in Newfoundland and Labrador. All securities to be issued pursuant to this Private Placement will be subject to a four-month plus one day hold period.

| CHAMPION MINERALS CONDUCTS AIRBORNE GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY AND SURFACE SAMPLING ON ATTIKAMAGEN LAKE IRON PROPERTY NEAR SCHEFFERVILLE, QUEBEC |
Toronto, Canada, December 13, 2007 - CHAMPION MINERALS INC. ("Champion" or the "Company") (TSX-V: CHM) is pleased to announce that it has received preliminary data from an airborne geophysical survey recently completed over its Attikamagen Lake Iron Property (the "Property") by Geophysics GPR International Inc. of Longueil, Quebec. The Property is comprised of 52 mineral exploration claims in western Labrador, located 15 km E-NE of Schefferville, Quebec. The geophysical survey was completed to define the lateral extent of the iron formations present at the Property using their characteristic high magnetic response. In addition to the airborne survey, a preliminary surface mapping and sampling program has been completed. The surface sampling program was completed to ground reference samples for correlation with the geophysical data.
