Toronto, Canada, January 10, 2008 - CHAMPION MINERALS INC. ("Champion" or the "Company") (TSX-V: CHM) announces that it has reserved a price of $0.45 per share for the grant of stock options to acquire up to 1,200,000 common shares of the Company (the "Stock Options"). The Stock Options have been granted to officers, directors, and consultants of the Company. Each Stock Option entitles the holder thereof to acquire one common share of the Company at an exercise price of $0.45 per common share prior to the close of business on January 10, 2013. The grant of the Stock Options is subject to regulatory approval.
