TORONTO, CANADA: JANUARY 5, 2007 - CHAMPION MINERALS INC. (formerly CHAMPION NATURAL HEALTH.COM INC.) ("Champion" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed its previously announced private placement (the "Private Placement") of 500,000 common shares (the "Shares") of the Company at a price of $0.20 per Share for gross proceeds of $100,000. The Shares issued pursuant to the Private Placement are subject to a hold period which expires four months and one day from the issuance date.
